Attending court proceedings is retraumatizing for families as they come face-to-face with the person who took the life of their loved one. Candace House is here to walk with families during this time, providing wrap-around care, support, and refuge.


Betty Ross is an Elder from Cross Lake First Nation. She shared with Candace House what it was like to attend court proceedings following the criminal loss of her brother.
