Action Regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Updated: Oct 21, 2020

Dear Victims, Survivors, Guests, and Supporters,

Candace House works to support those impacted by violent and serious crime. We offer a safe and comforting homelike refuge during the day for those navigating the court process, emotional care, practical assistance, court accompaniment, and access to holistic resources and referrals.

Everyday we interact with many people and as such do not want to put anyone at further risk of contracting the highly infectious coronavirus (COVID-19). Therefore, out of an abundance of caution, Candace House has made the very difficult decision to close its office (1B - 183 Kennedy Street) to the public temporarily.

Closing our office is meant to support social distancing due to public health risks associated with COVID-19. But we encourage anyone needing our support and assistance to contact us by phone, email or social media. We won’t stop being there for you however we can.

If you have any questions, please give us a call at 204-515-4125. We’re also available through email at info@candacehouse.ca and on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Thank you and stay safe!
