A Nourishing Haven

Candace House seeks to create a safe and comforting refuge for victims and survivors of violent crime. Dr. Barb Toews, from the University of Washington Tacoma, undertook a project for Candace House that sought to understand what such a refuge should look like.

The final report presents findings from interviews and focus groups that took place with victims and survivors as well as their representatives, for ideas on the potential design of Candace House using predominately images to represent key themes.
