What is #GivingTuesdayNow?
#GivingTuesdayNow is a new global day of giving and unity that took place on May 5, 2020 as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19. #GivingTuesdayNow takes place in addition to the regularly scheduled #GivingTuesday which will be taking place on December 1, 2020.
Thank You
Our goal was to raise $1,000 in 24 hours.
We want to thank each and every person who donated, shared our posts with friends and family, or called to say hello in support of #GivingTuesdayNow.
Because of the generosity of our community, together we doubled our $1,000 goal and raised over $2,000!
We are now working towards purchasing the necessary initial supplies to re-open our space safely for those we work with, our partners, the community, and our staff. We look forward to welcoming families back before the end of May.
However, we are still welcoming your support.
More than ever, victims, survivors, families, and loved ones will need a sense of security and comfort as they navigate the justice system and court proceedings. We know that as court proceedings resume following postponements due to COVID-19 and a record-breaking number of homicides in 2019, the coming year is going to be exceptionally busy. In addition, we are thinking about the long-term changes, challenges, and additional costs associated with providing our services safely to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19.

OTHER WAYS TO HELP
Restaurant Gift Cards
Due to safety precautions, we have had to make changes to how we offer snacks, meals and beverages. Help us ensure those we support are well-fed with a gift card to a local restaurant.
Cleaning Supplies
For everyone's safety, consider donating cleaning supplies so we can reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19.
Protective Equipment
We are also looking for personal protective equipment for those we support and our staff to ensure a safe environment.
